Come Join Us and Celebrate Four Outstanding Authors

Nibbles, Novelists and New Beginnings is a fundraising event for Green Gables Haven. Enjoy cocktails, dinner, networking time and and hear from Four (4) fabulous authors.

Nibbles, Novelists and New Beginnings will surely be an event guests won’t soon forget. The night will feature a stellar line up of celebrity authors.
*Tom Carr, a Michigan Author, who wrote the Dark Side of the Mitten: Crimes of Power & Powerful Criminals in Michigan’s Past & Present, which was released in November 2020. Carr is also author of the best-selling 2016 release, Blood on the Mitten: Infamous Michigan Murders, 1700s-Present, and of the popular 2018 release, MI BAD: Robbers, Cutthroats and Thieves in Michigan’s Past and Present. All three titles are published by Mission Point Press.
* Charles Cutter is the author of the highly acclaimed five book Burr Lafayette legal thriller series. The Pink Pony, the first book in the series, recently won First Prize in the Global Book Awards. The Gray Drake, Bear Bones, The Crooked Angel, and Under The Ashes are the other books in the Burr Lafayette series. Cutter has also written literary fiction, short stories, and screenplays. He is currently at work on the next book in Burr Lafayette series.
*Steve Ruthenberg, Author, resides in East Lansing, Michigan. Having authored eight books with his children’s books in the Best Friends Signature Pet Stories Series and his Mail Adventure Series. In addition, Steve has authored Golf Fore Beginners, Golf Fore Kids and Unbroken Spirit. His book Golf Fore Beginners has sold in over 10 countries, written in Japanese and sold through Walmart and Meijer.
In addition to our incredible guest authors, we are overjoyed to have Emcee, Terri DeBoer, Meteorologist from WOODTV and Co-Host of eightWest join us again this year serving as a guest author again this year with the release her 2nd book Grieving Well. Grieving Well was a collaborative effort, where Terri partnered with Janet Jaymin, the Grief and Bereavement manager at Faith Hospice to co-author this latest book.
The event will be held at The Legacy at Hastings and will surely to be an evening to remember. Attendees from past years can’t say enough about how much they enjoyed this event. Please plan to join us!
